Why choose the traditional market?
INTRODUCTION
As some of you may know, the market began about 10,000 years ago with bartering and since then, it has undergone great changes to this day.
Who would have thought just a few years ago that the internet could become the largest global market of the 21st century?
Well, whether we want to see it or not, this is the current reality. Traditional markets are disappearing, and with them, many families and businesses are exposed to bankruptcy.

THE REALITY OF THE CURRENT MARKET
The power of large supermarkets and their business model is based on making the maximum money in the shortest possible time, seeking the highest short-term profitability. They are not concerned about whether the products will be harmful or not to the final consumer.
Large supermarkets need suppliers who can provide their products to a very large number of markets. To achieve this, they have had to replace quality with quantity. It is practically impossible for a farmer to supply these companies with thousands of KG of high-quality products daily. On the other hand, the small farmer, the small producer who cares for their products, will be able to supply small businesses due to the small demand they generate.
The current economic model will always favor large supermarkets; large markets absorb small ones. In the same way that a large supermarket opens daily in a big city, a small business closes somewhere else in the world.
To make it easier to understand, let's imagine an example: The fruit we buy at the market or in the neighborhood store has nothing to do in terms of quality-price with the one we buy at the large supermarket in the area. It is clear that small businesses offer quality and a close relationship with the customer to gain their trust and guarantee them the best product.
CONCLUSION
If we reflect and understand this, we can help the growth of small businesses.
Let's ask two questions:
- Why not invest our money in eating well, seeking healthy and quality products?
- Why not continue shopping at traditional markets, whether in small businesses, street markets, or online stores that are implementing this type of commerce?
One day we will wonder why we have changed so drastically and why we have not preserved the healthy habits of our ancestors.
We still have time to correct this!
The goal of our store is to care for and maintain the health of our customers through the traditional market. We have decided to distance ourselves from the new food industry, avoid processed products, and maintain the qualities of natural products.
We have to open our eyes to small businesses, or one day it will be too late.
Remember that "We are what we eat."
